‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2:’ James Gunn Completes Second Draft Of The Movie Too
James Gunn is undoubtedly the man behind 2014’s monstrous hit that took everyone by surprise when the Chris Pratt led team impressed everyone and conquered the box office. Obviously a sequel was announced soon, which was to be written by James again. His first draft almost made Chris cry and according to recent reports, the movie is fast heading towards its production start as James has finished the second draft of the movie “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” as well.
According to Comicbook.com, a Facebook post made yesterday indicates James Gunn has finished writing the second draft of the movie, which means the movie is inching closer towards its production start date next year in 2016. According to the “Guardians of the Galaxy” director, there are normally two drafts that he writes and then leaves some space for improvisation on the script that may take place at a later date. According to him, the film has been written at this stage, however, there could be some changes as the shoot begins and progresses ahead.
Digital Spy reported that Chris Pratt was in tears when James shared the first draft of the movie. It is being said that the story will focus more on Star-Lord’s father who fans didn’t really see in the first movie. The media outlet also mentioned a quote from James that the sequel will see another member joining the Guardians in their quest ahead.
It is being said that Gamora’s sister Nebula will be joining the team as she too develops a hatred for the mad titan Thanos. Fans will surely want to see more of the Guardians, as there are so many questions left unanswered and so many stories unexplored that hopefully “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will shed some light on. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will release on May 5th 2017.
