‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2:’ Movie Begins Pre-Production In Atlanta
“Guardians of the Galaxy” was a little known property until it was turned into a summer blockbuster, thanks to James Gunn’s vision. With the success of the first movie, a sequel was expected and as we speak pre-production on “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has already begun in the present favorite superhero movie destination Atlanta.
According to Screen Rant, James is one of those writer-director who believes in keeping fans updated about what he is upto. After having recently clarified that neither Hulk nor any other Marvel hero will be seen in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” James made an update on his Facebook page about how he is heading to Atlanta for a grueling period of ten months so as to begin pre-production and filming of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”
James also clarified that despite him reaching there now, the movie will not be shot before February. He along with his team are going to give all of this time to building the humongous sets required for the movie.
Increasingly Atlanta has become a favorite destination for Marvel Studios as many of their recent movies like “Ant-Man” and “Captain America: Civil War” have been shot there. “Thor: Ragnarok” will be the next movie that will be occupying the new Pinewood Studio facility in Atlanta after “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”
Talking about the previous installment, there were many interesting things in the movie right? Slash Film added that amongst the interesting things, there were many Easter eggs in the movie. Most of them have been found but there’s this one major Easter Egg that James Gunn believes is undiscovered till today.
Maybe, it is James’s way to push fans into finding that one clue, because he won’t be pointing that out anytime soon. It remains to be seen if it will be revealed in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” when it releases on May 5th 2017.
