Gunshots Fired During Chris Brown’s San Jose Nightclub Show
What started out as an enjoyable night’s out for fans with Chris Brown performing onstage ended up like a scene in a bar shooting that left people panicking all over the place and five injured and rushed to the hospital.
Early morning of Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, Brown was performing in the Fiesta nightclub in San Jose, California when gunshots were fired while he was singing. Brown and his girlfriend Karreuche Tran were instantly shielded during the ruckus. The rest of the crowd then huddled up in a panic towards the stage.
According to TMZ, when the dust settled, four people were found injured and rushed immediately to the hospital. A fifth one later arrived and was brought to ER. Thankfully, none of the injured was severely hurt.
In a police report from Albert Morales, PIO of the San Jose Police Department, the shooting occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. The police were notified via a 911 call at the San Jose Police 911 Communications Center. Upon their arrival, the police found the injured and sent them to the hospital. Investigations are still going on within the area, and the police have already detained several people for follow ups.
As of the moment, the management and the employees of Fiesta nightclub has not made any comments on the incident. Fans who came back later that day to get some of the things they left behind or dropped during the ruckus also declined to give comments.
In an exclusive report from HollywoodLife.com, a source close to Brown said that Brown was also both surprised and scared of the shooting.
“At the end of the day, he has no control over these incidents. He doesn’t want violence and people shooting at his shows. He’s confused at what to do next and just wants to apologize to his fans that were there that this happened. He just wants to do his shows, have a good time with the fans and that be that. He’s sorry for all this,” a source told HollywoodLife.com.
