Harrison Ford Expresses His Interest To Stage A Comeback For ‘Indiana Jones 5’ With Steven Spielberg
Harrison Ford is an iconic Hollywood star best known for his roles in “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones.” The moviegoers will soon see him in his return for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” but is it possible that he will be also in another installment for “Indiana Jones”?
Comic Book stated his interview with Good Morning America recently wherein he sees himself doing it again alongside with their great director.
“I would love to do another Indiana Jones and work with Steven [Spielberg] again. If we get a script, I’d love to it. I’d love to see me do it before I turn 80,” Ford said.
The last time that he have worked for the film is way back in 2008. It’s time to have another installment which was already confirmed by producer Kathleen Kennedy last May, according to Yahoo Movies. Although there is already the go-signal for “Indiana Jones 5,” there are no definite plans and no timeline yet prior to the filming.
Ford and Spielberg are on the same page when it comes to doing the next installment for the Indiana Jones 5. He said, “We’ve gotta figure this out because now, Tom is tied with Harrison Ford: Harrison and I did four movies, Tom and I have done four movies. Now I’ll probably do an Indy 5 with Harrison, [so] it’ll be five for Harrison, four for Tom.”
Then, Ford was quick to add that he must work soon with Hanks to equalize the number of movies he made. He explained, “I’ve got to make another one with Tom, that’ll be five for Tom, five for Harrison. And I think I’m going to leapfrog that way for the rest of my career. With Daniel Day-Lewis in everything else!”
While there are still plans for “Indiana Jones 5”, fans would see Harrison Ford in “Star Wars:The Force Awakens” as the returning Han Solo.
