Harrison Ford vs. Donald Trump: ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ star Responds to Trump’s Comments
Between Harrison Ford and Donald Trump there is perhaps only one-sided admiration, as Harrison in his true style let Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump know what he really feels about his comments on the movie “Air Force One.”
Apart from making condemning and controversial statements, it seems Donald Trump is also a movie fan. He might not have seen all the movies, but if there’s one type of movie that he really likes are with heroic authority figures. Harrison Ford starrer “Air Force One” was one of them.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Donald Trump praised the character Harrison Ford was playing, however, when Harrison Ford was asked about that, he had a pretty unique reply for Trump. Harrison was at the Australian morning show “Studio 10,” when he mentioned that “Air Force One” was just a movie and referring to Trump with his first name, the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” star added that nothing like that happens in real life. He even went on to ask how would Trump know about it.
This perhaps wasn’t the only reply Harrison threw at Donald, as earlier in the interview too he pretended to misunderstand Donald’s ambitions to become the President. About that he thought Donald was talking about becoming a resident instead of President. He even questioned that Donald was not only going to just live there but he was also going to run the ropes at the White House? With all that being said, he added that he doesn’t think this kind of situation will be possible.
Independent added that Harrison Ford rather accused Donald Trump because he can’t tell fact from fiction. Since Donald opened up about liking movies with heroic Presidents, he happened to mention Harrison Ford’s movie’s name. Recently, Donald Trump received a lot of criticism for his remarks over banning Muslims to enter the US till the problem is solved. His comments have not been taken well by many as there’s even a petition going on in the UK to ban him from entering the country.
