Hart of Dixie Season 4 Recap: End of Days

In “Hart of Dixie” Season 4, Episode 9 “End of Days,” there was a proposal, more like a stolen proposal and looks like someone’s moving out of town. Residents of Bluebell are changing their lives for the better… is it because the end is near?

Sylvia and Brando checked out the nursery and asked Wade if he and Zoe are planning to get married. Wade said yes and Zoe admitted that she doesn’t believe in marriage. This is news to Wade and when they talked about it Zoe asked Wade when he cared about those stuff and Wade answered “Since I met you.” Feels!

Meanwhile, a water main broke and the firefighters’ help were needed. George and Zoe were on their way to New Orleans to watch Meatball perform but the truck broke. George and Zoe reminisced about the last time that they were together and George admitted that his life changed forever since that night because that was when he called off his wedding with Lemon while for Zoe, that was when she went to Wade’s arms.

Meatball was in panic mode because the manager told him that his set got bumped. George wasn’t having any of it that he “lawyered” up. When Meatball performed, Pamela Bailey, his cousin was so impressed with his performance that she asked George to work for her but of course, George has no plans of leaving the Truitt Brothers and Meatball so he said no.

There was a broken truck that spilled red paint all over the road as well. Cricket asked Lemon and AB to visit Smelly Marjorie, the girl they once tortured back in high school. When they got there, Smelly Marjorie wasn’t up for their apologies so they left.

When George and Zoe got back to Bluebell, Zoe was complaining to Wade about her marriage issues and that hit Zoe, that the decision is up to hers so she just needs to propose to Wade since Wade is all on-board for it. Suddenly, the lights went out and George burned a bush that spelled “Marry Me” but before the proposal can be executed, Zoe got a call from Wade to help out with Brick because he twisted his ankle, so Zoe asked George to guard the bush but then George was called for by AB but he assured Zoe that the bush will burn for 2 hours.

Just in time, Lemon found Lavon here and he told her that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her and Lemon was so happy that she thought that burning bush with the “Marry Me” sign was for hers and Lavon didn’t actually correct her.

AB told George that she knows about the job proposal and she said that she doesn’t want to get in the way of his dreams and made him promise that he would take the job.

After the proposal, Lemon was rejoicing and telling everyone that she and Lavon are now engaged. Zoe heard about this and she figured it out: Lavon stole her proposal.
