Hawaii Five-0” Season 5 Episode 25 “A Make Kaua (Until We Die)” aired last Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10:00 p.m. on CBS. In this episode, as the entire Five-0 Task Force prepared for Officer Kono Kalakaua’s (Grace Park) wedding, the entire team raced against time to save Hawaii from a deadly nuclear warhead that had recently been stolen. Read on to learn more about this episode.

The episode began with an unmarked military transport on its way to Garrison, North Dakota, getting literally sliced in half by several men in two trucks. They then took possession of the crate they were transporting and hijacked a plane and told the pilot to bring them to Hawaii.

In Hawaii, Lieutenant Detective Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim) confronted Adam Noshimuri (Ian Anthony Dale) regarding the photos that Gabriel Waincroft (Christopher Sean) had given him, and discovered that Adam had been trying to buy out Goro Shiyoma so that his businesses would no longer be connected to the Yakuza. However, he was willing to sacrifice all of his money in order to marry Officer Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park), as the only way to leave a business relationship with the man was to exit the same way one enters into it-with nothing.

Meanwhile, at the Five-0 Task Force, Captain Lou Grover (Chi McBride) and Detective Danny “Danno” Williams (Scott Caan) discovered that Gabriel was  busy taking out his competition by killing other known drug dealers.

Back at the McGarrett home, Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) got the surprise of his life after discovering that Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) was back in town in time for Kono’s wedding. After they hugged, Steve was called away as the Honolulu Police Department had located a small commercial airplane with a dead pilot in it, and no passengers. Lou then immediately ordered them to stand back as six nuclear warheads had just been stolen from the military. They then discovered that five nukes were accounted for, which meant that there was another nuke lose around the island.

Steve then informed Catherine, who decided to reach out to the Navy to see if they knew anything about it. Meanwhile, the others managed to identify the suspect and the ringleader as Josh Bennet (Jeffrey Nordling), who had enlisted after 9/11, but was rejected as he had a borderline personality disorder. Catherine then informed them that Naval Intelligence was tracking down a high ranking Al Qaeda lieutenant named Samir Haddad who was a real threat against national security, and who had ties with several shipping companies.

They then paid a visit to the harbor, where, after a shoot-out, they discovered the container Haddad had been living in. After discovering that one of Haddad’s men was alive, but bleeding out, they managed to get Haddad’s location from him.

They then stumbled onto Bennet and his crew, who were counting their money, as the deal had already gone through and Haddad was gone.

The next morning, Danny informed Steve that he was a match for the bone marrow transplant for his son, and told him that he was going to make his ex-wife tell their son that he was his real father. Afterwards, Catherine told Steve that she would stay as long as he wanted her to stay, but was saved by a phone call, as Haddad had been found dead.

Steve then shot Bennet in the leg and discovered that he was going to set the nuke off, with Haddad as a scapegoat, so that another war against the Middle East would be launched. They then went after a tourist trolley after discovering that Bennett had planted it their so that it would be set off in the middle of Waikiki. Meanwhile, visitors started to arrive to her wedding, but Adam told them to be patient and to wait to hear again from Kono.

Danny and Steve then took Kamekona’s (Taylor Wily) helicopter out to see so that they could drop the warhead so that it wouldn’t hurt anyone. Thankfully, the two managed to outrun the blast, and made it back safe.

Everyone then headed to the wedding, but before it could begin, Chin Ho went to his car to get the rings. There, he was confronted by Gabriel, who told him that he had taken care of him by getting rid of the Internal Affairs Detective who had it in for Chin Ho, and offered him half of whatever he would make so that Five-0 would stay out of his. However, Chin Ho turned him down and was told to turn around so that Gabriel could shoot him. However, when he turned around again, Gabriel was gone.
