‘Hawaii Five-0’ Spoilers: Returns, New Faces, and the Five-0 Team Gets Down and Dirty In the Next Couple of Episodes

“Hawaii Five-0” Season 6 Episode 5 “Ka’alapahi Nui (Big Lie)” will air on CBS this Friday, October 23, 2015 at 9:00 PM. This upcoming episode will test  how athletic several members of the Five-0 Task Force are as they not only prepare for an interesting race, but also have to deal with several stunt bikers in their latest investigation. Also, fans of the series should expect that a familiar face will be greeting them sometime around the New Year, and fans should also expect a new face that might just be good for Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett’s (Alex O’ Loughlin) personal life. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the upcoming episode, and will spoil the arrival of a new face and a familiar one in the near future. Read on to learn more about what will be happening next to the Five-0 Task Force.

According to the press release on Spoiler TV, Episode 5, “Ka’alapahi Nui (Big Lie)”, will be one for the books as the Task Force, minus Captain Lou Grover (Chi McBride) begin to train for an upcoming Tough Mudder race.

However, the team will indeed be getting themselves down and dirty as they will be dealing with a stunt biker gang in order to catch the prime suspect in their case, who seemingly escaped by using bike stunts.

Also, if that wasn’t enough, daredevil Robbie Knievel will also be guest starring in this episode.

Entertainment Weekly’s Spoiler Room has recently learned that a very familiar face, in the person of Carol Burnett, who portrays Steve’s Aunt Deb, will be returning to Hawaii, in an episode that is currently slated to air sometime around the New Year.

So far, according to Entertainment Weekly, she is tentatively slated to appear, but she won’t be accompanied by her new husband, Leonard Campbell, who is portrayed by the Four Seasons’ Frankie Valli.

However, what is known is that executive producer Peter Lenkov stated that this episode will supposedly bring Aunt Deb’s storyline to a close, which might be a sad thing, as she had been in a battle against cancer.

The future, however, isn’t that grim looking, but a little bit complicated,  as it seems that Steve might just be meeting a new potential love interest come this November sweeps, according to TV Line.

According to the report, Sarah Carter’s Lynn Downey and Steve will have a wonderful date on a deserted island, which ends up in disaster after a mob boss hiding there begins to hunt them down to keep his location a secret.

Lynn Downey is said to be a “nature enthusiast”, and will appear on the November 6, 2015 episode called “Na Kama Hele (Day Trippers)”.
