‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E’: Henry Cavill in His Latest Outing as a Spy
“The Man from U.N.C.L.E” is Henry Cavill’s take on the American Spy Napoleon Solo. It’s not every day that an actor who already plays a superhero role gets to play another interesting character. But perhaps Henry Cavill is different. The actor who’s known for starring in “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” had quite a portrayal in the movie. His performance has however is not what one would expect it to be. However in an interview, Henry recalls his days in the profession and what is the one incident he remembers even today.
According to People, when Men’s Fitness went over to shoot the leading man of spy comedy “The Man From UNCLE,” he was one of the most professional and easy to work with subjects according to photographer Brian Marcus. Cavill who was kind enough to share his experience in the boarding school he went to recalled being referred to as Fat Cavill. He was called that because of the lumps of fat he used to have on him at the time. He confessed that he loved food and still does.
Currently in the physical peak, the “Man of Steel” actor also spoke about one such embarrassing situation he found himself in while shooting for a TV drama called “The Tudors” in which he starred alongside Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Natalie Dormer.
It was during one of those racy scenes that were being shot with him and a girl who was supposed to be on top of him. In the scene she had to be on top of him and had to rub herself all over Henry’s body, things started to heat up and Cavill felt a little bulge in his pants. Justifying the incident, Cavill said he had not rearranged his stuff into a harmless position and that’s when he realized that he was a bit hard. He ended up profusely apologizing and notes that in a professional acting environment if something like that ever happens is completely unacceptable.
On his routine, Cavill says when he is not playing an action hero, it’s less regimented and he believes that whenever it’s necessary to do it, he will do it. Otherwise, he likes to let things go easy.
