“The universe doesn’t make things happen. If I don’t get the job, I’m not the right guy for the job,” Cavill said in an interview with the British Marie Claire.  “You’ve got to be careful not to be that actor who’s like, ‘I’m going to do something really different’ and it’s just c**p. Don’t try and be different, just play a character well.”

The most admiring character he is eyeing upon is James Bond, currently played by Daniel Craig. Cavill this time is making a good effort for grabbing the role as we have heard through, Belfast Telegraph. It is reportedly said that Brit Idris Elba is also in the talks to take over the spy part.

The “Immortals” star believes that he can do justice with the Bond legacy. Bond is an actors’ dream role and it will be extremely wonderful to play Bond. But for now, Cavill has completely focused on the already talked about upcoming flicks “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Justice League” which are scheduled to release next year.

Cavill has reportedly shed a lot of weight for his “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” He has now shaped into lean muscles now. He thinks Superman should not look like a giant mess the on-screen character should look like a real superhero.

Henry Cavill has been adored for the role of Superman in “Man of Steel” by fans and critics. “Man of Steel” has been one of the highest-grossing movies and was a huge success commercially.
