Hilary Duff Commends Miley Cyrus for “Wholeheartedly Being Herself”

Hilary Duff got Miley Cyrus’s back. The Disney Channel starlet was all praise for Miley Cyrus.

In an interview with PrideSource.com , she said, “This industry is a tough one to crack, but then I look at someone like Miley, and as crazy as people might think the whole thing is, I commend her. She’s so wholeheartedly being herself and is unapologetic about that and she’s doing a great job.”

It is tough growing up in the limelight and child stars have always struggled with more pressure than most teenagers. One only has to look up the life and times of child stars like Lindsay Lohan and Macaulay Culkin to see how tough it is. Miley Cyrus looks like she is in control where her life is concerned. She appears to thrive well despite pressure and Hilary was quick to commend her gumption and fortitude.

Hilary Duff said that Miley Cyrus was “wickedly talented” and said that even though there are people out there who hate on her, she has the last laugh. Indeed, Miley’s done a fabulous job of shedding her sugary sweet Disney image and creating an exciting, successful, and influential persona of a talented musician.

Hilary Duff is doing well too. She has recently seperated and filed for divorce with Mike Comrie and looking fabulous after losing the weight she had probably put on during her pregnancy. The actress confesses to having tried Tinder for dating. She was surprised that no one thought that she was there to look for real dates. She has since quit it and is no longer on Tinder. “I’m not still using it. It was really fun for me for a minute; I wanted to experience something totally normal and also shock people,” Duff said. “No one thought I was really on it – and I was really on it!”
