Homeland Season 6 Trailer, Spoilers: Injured Rupert Friend Returns? Premiere Episode Features Peter Quinn’s Resurrection?
Homeland will commence with season 6 shortly and it is speculated that fans will finally witness the end which they had wished for.
It is rumored that the political thriller series will primarily focus on family drama and friendship which will get tested for loyalty and honesty. It is already known that the season will begin with the resurrection of Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) and how his relationship equation changes with Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) and Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin).
Homeland Season 6 will kick off several month after season 5 finale time line with Carrie back in United States. She stays at Brooklyn, New York and she works with a foundation which support Muslims living there. The season will feature an important duration between election day and inauguration day.
According to IB Times, cast member Mandy Patinkin mentioned that Carrie is a magical character and is like a Vitamix – one person in the show that makes everyone stronger.
Homeland creator Alex Gansa insisted that the story line is not going to represent anything that does not really exists in United States. That means, by far the series will showcase some real life moments and incidences inspired from real life.
Carrie is going to reunite with her friend Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) in the upcoming season and they will encounter a major happening together.
Many new faces will be introduced in season 6 like Hill Harper as the White House staff chief, Elizabeth Marvel as the junior senator Elizabeth Keane, Dominic Fumusa as FBI special agent along with Robert Knepper as General Jamie McClendon.
