Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day are back as Kurt, Nick and Dale for the sequel of “Horrible Bosses” — “Horrible Bosses 2.” This time, they got a new buddy with them — Chris Pine. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

In “Horrible Bosses 2,” buddies Kurt, Nick and Dale have started their own business, Shower Buddy. However, when their investor (Christoph Waltz) and his son, Rex (Chris Pine), double-cross them and steal their idea, the trio decides to kidnap the investor’s son in order to put up a ransom to take back their business. They turn to their criminal consultant Dean “Motherfuckah” Jones, played by Jamie Foxx, to teach the “basics” of kidnapping.


“Horrible Bosses 2” will see the return of Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day who reprise their roles as Kurt, Nick and Dale. They will be joined  by returning cast members Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey. Christoph Waltz, Chris Pine, Keegan-Michael Key and Jonathan Banks join the cast for the sequel. Principal photography for “Horrible Bosses 2″ took place in Burbank, California between the span of September 2013 and June 2014.

The original black comedy pic “Horrible Bosses” directed by Seth Gordon, which premiered in Los Angeles on June 30, 2011, followed by a world wide release on July 8, 2011, exceeded its financial expectations, earning over $28 million in its first three days. The pic grossed $117,538,559 in the U.S. and $92,100,000 in other territories for a total worldwide box-office gross of $209,638,559, becoming the highest grossing black comedy film of all time. The pic met positive critical reception, with several critics praising the ensemble cast, while the plot received a more mixed response.

“Horrible Bosses 2” is directed by Sean Anders from a script he co-wrote with John Morris. The sequel is produced by New Line Cinema to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

“Horrible Bosses 2” is scheduled to hit the big screens on Nov. 26, 2014.
