‘Hotel Transylvania 3’ Release In September 2018 Confirmed! Voice Cast To Reprise Their Roles?
“Hotel Transylvania” 3 is really happening, you guys! Our beloved “monsters” and of course, Drac is coming back to make us “blah, blah, blah” again.
Sony Pictures has announced that “Hotel Transylvania 3” will hit theaters on September 21, 2018. There’s still a long way to go but it’s good to know that things are official. So far, the cast is still unknown but it’s going up against Warner Bros. “Scooby-Doo” reboot, which is also slated in September 2018.
Director Genndy Tartakovsky, who has directed the two “Hotel Transylvania” films, has revealed that he’s not coming back to direct the third instalment of the animated movie. In September, he also revealed that the studio is moving forward with the sequel even without him. So far, there are still no news or information on who’s going to direct the third installment.
In other news, it is really no surprise why Sony is moving forward with “Hotel Transylvania 3” despite the huge change. The first instalment of the film earned $358.3 million worldwide at the box office and the sequel earned $373.6 million worldwide just after 6 weeks! Yes, it is THAT successful. So, there’s really no surprise why they are moving forward with another movie.
Although voice cast hasn’t been announced yet, it is very lily that Adam Sandler, who voiced Dracula, will reprise their roles along with Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi and David Spade. Can you just imagine “Hotel Transylvania 3” without them, anyway? For sure there are new characters to be introduced as well.
As for the script, it is still uncertain whether or not Sandler and Robert Smigel will work on the script again. But we do hope so!
