“House of Cards” fans are speculating since long on a character that will be played by “Scream” star Neve Campbell. But according to “House of Cards” Season 4’s official IMDb page and Neve Campbell’s official IMDb page, Campbell is present in the only first episode of “House of Cards” Season 4.
Well, this can also mean that showrunners want to see the response of audience before finally signing Neve Campbell as a regular on the show. According to Deadline, Campbell will be playing the young rival couple challenging norms of Frank and Claire Underwood.
Meanwhile, new released Presidential Campaign via advertising for “House of Cards” Season 4 mocks Claire Underwood. The website for promotion of “House of Cards” Season 4, FU2016.com says “Claire Not Found” and sneakily writes up “Admin = Frank Underwood.”
Claire Underwood has announced last season of “House of Cards” that she is leaving Frank Underwood so obviously she would not be part of Presidential Campaign. So, a good twist storyline will have Neve Campbell using Claire’s absence, or Claire using Neve Campbell to crawl back?
Well, it is not clear yet. According to VC Post, Executive Producer of “House of Cards,” Beau Willimon revealed, “Campbell will play a power hungry woman set on reaching the top and will achieve some momentum by using Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire’s (Robin Wright) damaged relationship.”
Also, Willimon has confirmed in the past that apart from political drama, “House of Cards” Season 4 will also bring ups and downs of Frank and Claire’s marriage.
