‘House of Cards’ Season 4 Update: Michael Kelly Does Not Want Doug Stamper To Die; Chances of Survival? ; Neve Campbell As Rival
“House of Cards” Season 4 renewal was announced by Netflix via Twitter on Apr. 2015. Since then, the hit drama has been majorly speculating on two things. One being, the death of Doug Stamper and other when the casting of Neve Campbell came in the picture, everyone assumed she will be from the rival couple. Read on for more details.
Not all these assumptions about the coming season of “House of Cards” are wrong. They are actually going to be true but like many fans of the hit drama series, Michael Kelly who plays Doug Stamper, does not want his character to die. Kelly thinks that being Doug Stamper on “House of Cards” is the best thing that has happened to him.
Rumours have it that Doug Stamper has a near death incident for which doctors and other medical professionals are being cast. Ecumenical News reported the casting call for medical professional says, “REAL medical experience is a plus.”
Also, the report has it that one or two people from House of Cards” Season 4 might end up in the hospital. That does not necessarily mean that Doug Stamper will have to die. There had been no official comments by the team of House of Cards” Season 4.
Kelly says, “I don’t know, man, I don’t want him to… I love playing him, I love going to work every day, here we are in season 4 and I love going to work just as much as I did the first day of season 1 and that says a lot.” Kelly said in an interview with Christian Post.
Everyone knows by now that Claire and Frank Underwood are going to have a serious competition this season. Neve Campbell will be seen in a strong position playing a tough rival character to Frank and Claire Underwood.
