In-House Photographer Juergen Teller Refused To Shoot Miley Cyrus for Marc Jacobs campaign

The designer, Marc Jacobs recently enlisted Miley Cyrus to front his new Spring 2014 campaign, where she really looks gorgeous and stunning! But to our surprise, the beautiful shoot wasn’t captured by Marc Jacobs’ loyal photographer, Juergen Teller – because he refused! Doesn’t it sound crazy?

Juergen Teller has been a longstanding photographing for Marc Jacobs who is shooting campaigns for years, but when he was asked to photograph Miley, he was quick to decline. Instead Jacobs chose David Sims for this wonderful opportunity!

Jacobs and Miley have been friends since they first met at Robert’s birthday party in Savannah a few years ago. The “Wrecking Ball” singer is a big supporter of Jacobs, having recently stripped out of her clothes for his “Protect the Skin You’re In,” T-shirt campaign.

Jacobs is admirer of the songstress as well, as he said: “We all just love her and her entire being, her energy, her talent, her intelligence, everything. There’s nothing I don’t like about her. She is just genuine and very natural.”

While it appears rude that Miley was dissed, Marc Jacobs had Miley’s back all the way, and also didn’t disrespect his photographer or give us any juicy details regarding why he wouldn’t shoot Miley!

“I have worked with Juergen for years and love him as an artist. He just didn’t want to shoot her,” Jacobs told WWD.
