The initiative is going to help the students of running champion Rob De Castella’s Indigenous Marathon Foundation (IMF), in their future perspectives related to education and careers.
“I’ve been so impressed by the inspirational work that Rob does and the brilliant young runners he’s mentoring through IMF,” Jackman said.
As the name suggests, Castella’s foundation was designed to train a squad of men and women of 18-30-year-old for the New York Marathon. It mainly focuses on promoting a healthy lifestyle throughout Indigenous communities and believes in creating role models to inspire people.
Jackman, who is also the global Ambassador of Qantas, also shared his views about the motto of the foundation by saying that performing in the New York Marathon is just the beginning for the squad and he wants to see the next step of the marathon runners.
Well, Jackman’s words are really very appreciating for us all and mean a lot too. And it is confirmed that he will always keep on supporting such causes. So, keep learning from him and keep giving blessing to him and his causes always.
