‘Hunters’ Recruits Britne Oldford for Duty

SyFy’s newest alien thriller, “Hunters,” which is currently in development is developing at a faster than expected pace. The upcoming SyFy show has just snagged its female lead. Read on to learn more about who earned the role of the female lead of SyFy’s upcoming show “Hunters.”

According to Deadline and Comic Book Resources, actress Britne Oldford has just snagged the role of the female lead, in the upcoming SyFy alien thriller show entitled “Hunters,” which will be airing on the network in 2016.


According to the article, Oldford will be portraying a character named Regan. He is described as a very talented government operative.

This news comes at the heels of an earlier report on Movie News Guide which reported that actor Nathan Philipps, whom Oldford is supposed to star opposite to, is currently in negotiations with the network in order to portray the main character, Flynn Carroll.

The show, written by Natalie Chaidez and executive produced by Chaidez and Gale Anne Hurd, is based on the novel entitled “Alien Hunter” in which a decorated cop. In the course of his investigation into the disappearance of his wife, the cop stumbles upon a secret government organization dedicated to hunting and track down Earth-based and space based terrorists.

Oldford has appeared in other television projects and has portrayed a wide variety of characters. She portrayed Cadie Campbell on the television show “Skins”; Alma Walker in the 2012 to 2013 run of “American Horror Story”; Remy Beaumont in “Ravenswood”; Jenny Butler in the series “The Divide.” Most recently, she guest starred on the CW’s superhero show “The Flash” as the DC villain Peek-A-Boo or Shawna Baez for two episodes in the show’s freshman season.
