Ian Somerhalder Heating Up on PDA with Nikki Reed in a Jewelry Store
Longtime friends turned sweethearts and fellow “vampires” Ian Somerhalder from “Vampire Diaries” and Nikki Reed from “Twilight” have been seeing each other more often as of late and, as they were recently seen together in a jewelry shop, have been keeping up on the PDA.
As Reed finalizes her divorce from Paul McDonald, she spends the weekend for some quality time with her current man Somerhalder. On Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, the two were seen picking out necklaces and even some rings in New Stone Age in LA together. And judging from the photos taken from the scene, they weren’t just picking out some jewelry, they were also putting up some sweet moves to each other.
This visit to a jewelry shop certainly isn’t the first time for Somerhalder lately. E! News has previously reported that Somerhalder was sighted at the Neil Lane jewelry shop on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, apparently picking out some engagement rings for about an hour or so. A source added that it seems the shop was even closed down for him since there wasn’t anyone seen coming in nor out while he was inside.
According to a source close to Somerhalder, the actor took his time looking at some cushion cut engagement rings, reportedly costing at least $100,000! Though he ended up leaving without buying anything, apparently he did pick out a good style and was pretty excited about it.
Could we take this as a hint to a higher relationship status between these two celebrities?
No one knows for sure as of the moment, as both Somerhalder and Reed have been evading such questions. We’ll just have to wait and see, perhaps when Reed’s divorce is deemed officially over and done. Who knows, maybe this year will be a good year for romance for both of them.
