Ian Somerhalder And Nikki Reed Buy Venice Contemporary Residence For $2.85 Million
The newlywed, Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are all set to settle down in their new retreat home they have recently purchased. The couple has been around a plenty of rumors in the last few weeks mainly encircling Somerhalder’s ex girlfriend and their baby plan, but now it seems they are trying to start a new life at a new place. According to Variety, “The Vampire Diaries” star Somerhalder has bought a contemporary Venice estate worth $2.85 million. The media outlet reported that the couple has purchased it from Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, who purchased it for himself in 2014 for just under $2.76 million.
The new residence of Reed and Somerhalder, which sprawls across an area of nearly 2,800 square feet, consists of three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The flooring is finished with a polished look, the raised ceiling, trendy kitchen, deluxe bathroom with separate tubs, double-height dining area definitely give a feel of a dreamland.
As elaborated by Latin Post, lot of things are yet to be done as they have a plan to showcase an “eco-architectural” type of living place by using reclaimed wood to pour more natural look. The addition of spanning glass walls would allow much natural light to pass through so that the inner milieu becomes vibrant and classy.
Such a brilliant gift a real husband can only give to his beloved and Reed is proud of Somerhalder. “The Twilight” actress Reed was reportedly busy in selling and purchasing of property last week. She is said to have sold the Hollywood Hills home where she used to reside with her first husband Paul McDonald, whom she was married between 2011 and 2015. Just after a month of Reed’s divorce with McDonald, she confirmed her engagement with Somerhalder in February 2015.
