After the release of the three sequels of “Ice Age,” it’s time for its upcoming fourth sequel, which is officially named as “Ice Age-Collision Course.” The third part named “Ice Age-Continental Drift” was released in 2012 and had done wonders on the box office. An official release date and official title have finally been released by 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky studios. According to Comic Book, the movie will be released in America on July 22nd, 2016 enabling it not to clash with the release of the much awaited ‘Ghostbuster Reboot.’

Sony’s Ghostbusters, which was first released in 1984 is releasing its sequel,‘Ghostbusters Reboot’ on 15th July, is much around the release date of the Ice Berg and it is being rumored that 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios are intimidated of its release. Even though, the title is as appealing to the children as well as adults, director Paul Fieg, has warned everyone that despite what people think about this movie, it will definitely be scary and full of adventures. Fieg has warned the parents for not letting their kids watch the movie, reports Movie Web.

The plot details for ‘Ice Age: Collision Course’ has not been revealed yet but the title is subject to a lot of speculations. The main voice cast remains the same. There are some new voice-over artists for this sequel and those include Keke Palmer, Wanda Sykes and retired talk show host, Jay Leno.

So far, no other announcements have been made. Ice Age sequels never seem to end and while the last one received high criticism, the sequels have earned around $2.8 million worldwide.

Nevertheless, fans have waited for three whole years for the upcoming sequel and despite the bizarre number of sequels, an abundance of audience is expected in the movie theatres.
