Iggy Azalea Blames Britney Spears For Flopped Song, ‘Pretty Girls’?

It seems like the feud between “Pretty Girls” singers, Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears is starting to be get worse.

Iggy and Brit launched their collaboration song “Pretty Girls” last May with all the fanfare, showing how this song could be a reigning song of a summer queen. But, it seems like all the tricks and trips that they showed in their music video were not enough to help them reach the top. The track barely cracked the charts; Top 20 in United Kingdom and Top 30 in US and Australia- and until now it continues to get to the bottom- in other word, it’s FLOP.

Though the song has the hype of 80s and it shows how the two singers blend to the wild music video, their song was a bit out of place right now. One fan even noted that the singers’ 2015 collab song “flopped a little bit” and again, of course, someone would respond on this tweet and that someone is none other than…Iggy herself.

Iggy: “@rhuancesarr its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured…”

After Iggy’s response to a Twitter Q&A, fans of Spears went into frenzy and reacted that Iggy is blaming it to Brit, that she is throwing a shade at her collab partner. This made Iggy decide to take it to the next level to defend herself from the angered loyal fans of Britney.

The newly engaged Aussie singer tweeted that her comment is factual and that it applies to any song. “I don’t have to suck the woman’s asshole 24/7 to be her friend, do I? Bye girls,” she added.

But, as reported by E! news, Iggy isn’t throwing a shade to Britney. The rumors just started because the fans and other people misinterpreted Iggy’s tweet and of course, since the Aussie singer herself was being bashed, she needs to shut it down in her own way and we know how she did it.

So relax guys, everything is just a rumor.

Iggy explained that she didn’t mean any ill will towards Britney. The singer said that she’s not attacking anyone, that all she said was she wish that they had promoted more but it’s pout of her control. The singer also said that Britney is a good friend.
