Iggy Azalea Opens Up About Her Plastic Surgery Journey; Says It’s Really Hard And Emotional

“Fancy” singer, Iggy Azalea opens up about her plastic surgery, stating that even if it is hard to go under knife, she did. See the reason and her opinion on plastic surgery below.

The rapper previously admitted that she had undergone plastic surgery; nose job and breast augmentation. She opened about her having multiple surgeries pointing out that undergoing plastic surgery is really hard, but not making any changes to your look is a lot harder, especially now that we have social media and everybody is looking at you.

The 25-year-old recently opened up about her decision to go under the knife and change her looks. According to the rapper, she decided to have plastic surgery because now-a-days she finds it difficult to be under constant scrutiny in the public.

In her Seventeen magazine interview, Azalea stated that it’s really hard to be a woman in 2015 especially under the spotlight of social media. To her, there’s so much more emphasis on taking pictures, adding up to that fact is how people make comments about it—good or bad.

The “Pretty Girls” singer had already admitted that she had a nose job and breast implants, saying that denying about it is really lame.

Azalea said that to her, one should not be ashamed if he or she made a change to her or his body that’s why she’s speaking up about it. She had a plastic surgery, and that’s it.

Though she is very open about plastic surgery, she pinpointed that it’s not a good idea to rush into it. According to her, before she decided to pursue surgery (nose job), she first did a lot of research adding that in reality “plastic surgery is an emotional journey.”

The rapper also said that in reality, there’s no easy way to live with your flaws and accept who you really are—and it’s no easy feat to change yourself. She said,”Your perception of yourself can change a lot over time, so I think it’s important to wait and make sure it’s the right choice.”

Iggy Azalea’s message is  not bad at all, especially now that we are surrounded by different social media. It’s really hard to live up being yourself.
