‘The Incredibles 2′ Movie: Brad Bird Confirms Sequel, Reveals Spoilers; Plot Set 11 Years To The Future
The family-friendly superhero movie. “The Incredibles 2” might get a 2017 release date. The director Brad Bird revealed some of the stories to the press. He was smart enough to reveal only sketchy details of the project. Read on for more details.
According to Cross Map, Bird has been furiously at work on “The Incredibles 2.” However, he told sources that he wouldn’t talk about the project too much to avoid turning “The Incredibles 2” into “a footnote or commentary on the current state of the superhero genre.”
Bird knows that “the greatest special effects on ‘The Incredibles 2’ won’t be the latest technology, but the characters of the film itself.” He also shared that “when it comes to film making, he said most directors are not so engrossed in special effects that they forget to invest more on the characters of the movie.”
He also told the press that he is doing the project because he loves the characters of the movie.
Recently Samuel L. Jackson also let the people know that his character “Lucius Best aka Frozone” will be present in the next film.
“Everytime I run into Brad, he always tells me Frozone is part of what’s going on [in the sequel], so I have to believe that. I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what’s already there.” Jackson said.
The new movie will probably be set 10 or 11 years into the future, with Violet and Dash being portrayed as young adults or grown-ups. Jack-Jack will be the unruly teenager who is learning to use and control his powers. There will obviously be mishaps with Jack-Jack bunging it up for the whole family.
There’s even a rumor doing rounds that Jack-Jack will be the villain in the next installment, but these have not yet been confirmed.
