‘The Incredibles 2’ To Have Six-Year Time Jump From The Original; Jack-Jack’s Supernatural Powers Defined!
Finally, Pixar’s 2004 super hit movie will have its second installment titled “The Incredibles 2” and the release date has been confirmed. Albeit it’s too early to update you about the story, it seems we are gradually entering into an invisible sphere where we will soon find ample facts about the plots of the film.
The original movie, “The Incredibles” is believed as one of the first superhero films of this generation. When the first movie of the franchise was released in 2004, there were only two superhero film franchises, “X-Men” and “Spider-Man.” Now, what even Brad Bird (the director and writer) thinks, there are over 400 billion of them as the world sees a new superhero movie every two weeks.
However, as narrated by Ecumenical News, when “The Incredibles 2” screens on the theaters in 2019, the audience will surely expect to see something different, not at all common with the other superhero movies. Hence, the second installment will mainly focus on the family and relationships instead of giving major emphasize on the superhero aspect.
“The interesting thing was never the superhero part of it. It was more of the family dynamic, and how do superhero things play into that,” Bird explained.
The rumor is up in the air that the “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’s” director, Bird has already finished his task of writing the script and has now commenced boarding parts of the story. Even it is said that “The Incredibles 2” will give a six-year time jump from the first movie, although both the films will have a release gap of around 15 years.
According to Breathecast, it was earlier disclosed that the youngest member of the Parr family, Jack-Jack is capable of floating, shapeshifting, teleporting, turning into fire or even a small monster, shooting lasers etc. However, in the upcoming sequel, he is expected to become fiercer with lot of other supernatural powers.
“The Incredibles 2” is slated to hit the theaters on June 21, 2019.
