‘The Incredibles 2’ Update: Michael Giacchino Onboard For Musical Score?
“The Incredibles 2” team has a new reason to celebrate as with Brad Bird’s return, Michael Giacchino’s joining is also confirmed. Yes, the Academy Award winning composer will give musical score in the upcoming second installment of the series and this news has been confirmed by Bird on his Twitter page.
Michael Giacchino is not new to the movie as he was behind creating the score for the 2004’s “The Incredibles” as well. By giving music in famous movies like “LOST,” “Jurassic World,” “Star Trek Into Darkness,” “Super 8,” “Inside Out” etc. and in TV series’ too, he established his name among many more in the industry and in a very strong manner.
Meanwhile, director Brad Bird who has also written script for the first Incredibles and is working on the storyline for the second part too said, “I have the story arc, I’m probably three-quarters through the script, first pass through the script, but we’re already boarding parts of it,” revealed Collider as mentioned by him in a conversation related to the much awaited project.
The director also made it clear that “The Incredibles 2” will hit the floors after “Toy Story 4” and “Cars 3” only if the studio sticks to the previously designed plan. Till now, it is been informed that the second installment of the superhero animated franchise will be released on June 21, 2019, means still a long way to go.
