‘The Incredibles 2’ Update: Release Date Of The Movie Confirmed!
Fans of ‘The Incredibles’ are rejoicing after Disney Pictures confirmed the sequel of the said movie and its possible release date. “The Incredibles 2” will be released on June 21, 2019, which will be 15 years since the first movie came out.
What can people expect from the sequel? According to an article in Master Herald, the movie will focus on the relationships between the characters of the film, the family and their colleagues as well. The director of the film will still be Brad Bird who is also known for directing the movies “Ratatouille,” “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” and “Tomorrowland” which are major box office hits as well.
“I had a lot of ideas for the original ‘Incredibles’ that I didn’t get a chance to use, that I like,” Bird said. “I have ideas that I wanted to pursue a little bit, and there wasn’t enough time in ‘Incredibles.’ There are new ideas I have, and I think there are enough of those together to make an interesting movie,” he added.
For those who are planning to watch the film, you can expect a film unlike any other. Bird stated from his previous interview that “The Incredibles 2” won’t be like the typical superhero movies you see nowadays. One thing that is unique about this movie would be the value of family and relationships which is the main anchor of the story.
Voice actors of the film are even excited for this news. Samuel L. Jackson who is behind the voice of Frozone stated, “Every time I run into Brad [Bird, director] he always tells me Frozone is part of what’s going on [in the sequel], so I have to believe that. I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what’s already there.”
“I’m just looking forward to seeing what Jack-Jack [the youngest member of the family] turned into,” the actor added.
