‘The Incredibles 2’ Will Feature New Elements, Says Director Brad Bird
“The Incredibles 2” was announced during 2014 in meeting of Disney management, but ever since then there has been no update on the project. According to TV by the numbers, Chief Operating Officer of Pixar John Lasseter says that director Bird has found a wonderful script for sequel, and the development will be kicked off soon after Bird finishes off his work on “Tomorrowland.”
There has been no news of “Incredibles” sequel at D23 Expo except for a new poster which did not made any significant revelation, not even the speculated release dates. Fans are absolutely clueless of when they will hear positive substantial news about their favourite animated flick.
Lasseter added that there was no announcement on “Incredibles” sequel in the last D23 Expo as there’s still time to work on it, and before the sequel comes out there is another D23 lying ahead. Hence, in the next Expo we might hear some official news on that.
Director Bird revealed a few minute details about the sequel during the press con of “Tomorrowland” that some new elements will be found in the sequel as per the requirement of plot which were not present in previous part.
Bird looked possibly for a kind of angle that took the movie to an arching idea derived from the initial part and carried the feature to a different level. To find such angle will definitely need a little extra time for “The Incredibles 2.”
