‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ Prepare For Multi-platform Release
“Independence Day: Resurgence” will be put on big screens in 2016, which will also be the time to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the original blockbuster alien invasion movie from Roland Emmerich. The sequel from Independence Day will come up with some old faces that were there in previous movie and some new characters will also be seen.
According to Screen Rant, the new movie will also come out with strong extraterrestrial forces that will invade planet Earth and the good forces will join hands together to save the Earth from total destruction. The new movie from Independence Day franchise is similar to the latest “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” movie, in the sense that it also takes us to the beginning of a new era.
The new movie will be made in a manner that it will have its own individuality and the continuity of the series will also be maintained. The movie, through tie-ups, will have a multi-platform release such as in the form of comic books and video games as well.
Few months before the “Resurgence” movie will be released in theatres, the franchise is in plans to come out with comic book series as well. According to the makers of the movie, “Independence Day: Resurgence” the story will be picked up in real time and will take the baton from the first movie of Independence Day.
According to Man’s World, a global defence program will be undertaken by the makers of the movie. With Jeff Goldlum taking up the responsibility of the director, new technology will be developed to provide protection to our planet from any extraterrestrial attacks in the future. All this sounds really interesting and we all are desperately waiting to have a first look at it.
