Independence Day: Resurgence Update: Filming Wraps While Roland Emmerich Acknowledges With A Double Rainbow

This May the filming of the “Independence Day” sequel began in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Now, director Roland Emmerich has officially announced the wrap of principal photography.
The director also gave special thanks to Albuquerque, New Mexico. He mention that they have been amazing. Producer/composer Harald Khoser also connected with the director by posting, “It’s a wrap!!!”
Almost all the cast from the 1996 original classic has returned for the sequel expect for Will Smith, who seems busy appearing in DC and Warner Bros.’s “Suicide Squad.”
Once again, the movie’s guarantees to show humankind confrontation against the alien “locusts” from the first movie. However, this time we have retained their technology and modified it to our own.
A first detail of the long evolved sequel was formally introduced back in June by the director and his cast, along with it the official title and plot details. Comicbook.com reported about the official plot synopsis of “Independence Day: Resurgence.”
“Like we always knew they were coming back. After “Independence Day” redefines the event movie genre, the next epic chapter of ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ will deliver universal extravaganza on an incredible rate. The nations of the world will alliance together on an extensive agenda to protect the earth, using retrieved alien technologies. But unfortunately, the intruders ultimately return with more dangerous weapons, “leaving the destiny of the planet to the inventiveness of a small group of brave men and women.” the outlet reported.
The film features a cast counting Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Vivica A. Fox, Liam Hemsworth, Maika Monroe, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Jessie Usher.
Directed and Scripted by Roland Emmerich alongside Dean Devil, “Independence Day: Resurgence” is set to hit the theaters on June 24, 2016.
