‘Infinity Challenge Music Festival’: Songs Sweep Mnet’s Weekly Chart

The ‘Infinity Challenge Music Festival’ has been the top free-to-air Korean entertainment program.
This year the ‘nation’s variety’ had showcased performances from the most happening acts in K-Pop. 5 out of the top 6 spots on Mnet’s Weekly Chart are reigned by songs from the 2015 festival.
The songs that have won respectable positions in the chart include:
#1 spot: IU and Park Myung Soo’s “LEON”
#2 spot: G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Kwanghee’s “Mapsosa”
#3 spot: HaHa and Zion.T’s “$ponser”
#5 spot: Jung Hyung Don and hyukoh’s “Wonderful Barn”
#6 spot: Yoo Jae Suk and J.Y. Park’s “I’m So Sexy”
#10 spot: Jung Jun Ha and Yoon Sang’s “My Life”

The venue of the festival this year was the swanky Alpensia Resort in Pyeongchang. There were 30,000 attendees present for the event within the venue and an additional 10,000 outside. There are rumors that the venue witnessed people who reached two days prior to the the festival to gain access inside. The level which the festival attained this time, was definitely worth all the wait. In total there were 40,000 people who gathered to enjoy the amazing music under the clear summer sky, reported All K Pop.
According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, “Infinity Challenge” scored 21.1 percent nationwide on August 22.
The songs from the “Infinity Challenge Music Festival” is proubly dominating top positions of the hottest music charts like Melon, Bugs, Mnet, Genie and naver music across the globe, reports Soompi.
