Injustice 2: What to Expect from Injustice: Gods among Us?

Injustice 2 has been one of hottest topics in the world of video games. Different speculations and theories had spread all over the internet lately.

Injustice: Gods among Us is the first installment that came out last April 2013. It became available in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the recent reports, Injustice 2 is set to hit the stores in 2017. Meanwhile, not just the rumor about the second installment release date of the game series was rife; but also NetherRealm Studios, the developer of Injustice, is reportedly doing something new for the game.


It is believed that NetherRealm Studios is developing the upcoming installment with an RPG style to give the player more chance of exploring the game’s world. Making this feature will surely give the gamers a new experience of a fighting game genre. However, although these reports are not confirmed by the company, this is still the information that will definitely hype the fans to wait for Injustice 2 more.

The creator of Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon, shared his thoughts about the sequel of Injustice: Gods among Us. He stated that Injustice 2 is already under development but the exact date of its launch has not been mentioned.

In addition, NetherRealm Studios’ Marketing Head Brian Goodman also revealed what to expect from the forthcoming sequel and its release date. According to Game N Guide, he said, “We will have new environments; we will be releasing them over time.”

Injustice: Gods among Us has also been released in mobile versions. It was launched for iOS last April 2013 and for Android, last November 2013. Mobile version for the sequel was not yet mentioned.

Injustice 2 is also believed to feature new powers, new style of gameplay and new characters. This highly anticipated game is expected to be available on several platforms such as PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Speculations suggest that it is also set to be available on Xbox One Project Scorpio and PS4 Pro.
