Jackson Vroman: Justin Bieber’s Friend and Former NBA Star Found Dead
Former NBA player Jackson Vroman, friends with Justin Bieber and Reggie Bush, was found dead Monday in a swimming pool at his Los Angeles County home, the county coroner’s spokesperson told The Des Moines Register.
As reported by The Des Moines Register, an investigator on the case has not finished a preliminary report on the cause of death and an autopsy is scheduled for later this week.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed via Twitter on June 29, along with a photo of Jackson playing basketball by Phoenix Suns. The tweet read – “We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Jackson Vroman. Our thoughts are with his family during this time.”
Jackson who was the forward/center out of Iowa State from 2002 to 2004 was selected in the second round NBA (31st overall) of the 2004 draft, by the Chicago Bulls, but he did play for Phoenix and New Orleans during his two NBA seasons.
The Lebanese national team, where Vroman played through last year, tweeted the apparently erroneous information Monday that the cause of Jackson’s death was a car accident but it was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner that he was actually found unconscious in the pool at his home – stated The Hollywood Life.
Celebrity friend Reggie Bush paid his tribute to Jackson on Monday via Instagram, where his heartfelt message read – “Love you bro I miss you already can’t believe your gone. I thank God for allowing me to spend time with you on your final days on earth!”
While Jackson’s another celebrity friend Justin Bieber is yet to comment on this tragic death.
