James Cameron Giving Final Touches to Scripts of ‘Avatar 2?’
James Cameron recently shared that he is now into the stage of passing the scripts of “Avatar.” The movie would be Cameron’s first stint as a director after he enjoyed the superb success of the first film.
The filmmaker said that he is busy with another round of passing the scripts of “Avatar.” Cameron, 61, has got various accolades including the Oscar and said that the setting of his movie and characters in the movie are quite clear to him now.
Cameron is busy with another round of pass-through for all his 3 scripts at present. The idea is to refine and would go parallel with the process of design. He also said that the design stage of the film is at a mature level now.
The director explained that since the designing process has been on since about last 18 months, all the creatures, settings and characters that would be seen in the new film are now well set.
James Cameron said that it is obvious that expectations of the fans would be at a very high level for these movies. This is particularly true for his movie “Avatar 2.” People should not come out declaring that the first movie was not simply a fluke. Business Standard reported that Cameron strongly feels that his “Avatar 2” needs to deliver.
This shows that Cameron is voicing out the pressure to perform well with his new film that falls within the fantasy genre. “Avatar 2” has to repeat the success of “Avatar,” its predecessor that was truly a marvelous global phenomenon released in 2009. By “pass through”, perhaps this ace director is trying to explain that he is refining the film.
James Cameron’s “Avatar 2” is tipped to hit the big screen on December 2017 and its fans are waiting with great anticipation to rush to the theaters to watch it.
