The film is focused on Compson family settled in Deep South region who were once-aristocrat but lost all money and respect in the town due to the dissolution of the family. The family struggles to fit the change in the society during 20th century dealing with four different perspectives within the family.
According to The Wrap, many people know Franco as a brilliant director for movies that include “Milk,” “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” and “This Is the End” to name a few. He has a wonderful way of execution for narrative stories. The upcoming movie is regarded as a beautiful adaptation of literature of the New Film International, as stated by President Nesim Hason of New Film International.
“The Sound and the Fury” cast include Scott Haze, Ahna O’Reilly, Joey King and Tim Blake Nelson in the main roles along with himself. It has been premiered last year during Venice Film Festival and did not receive so good ratings from the critics mostly because it is believed that the novel is too complex to handle and has many perspectives to be portrayed.
James Franco has previously directed an adaptation based on the novel by William Faulkner, “As I Lay Dying” in 2013.
