After slamming rumours of his decision to not star in the ‘Fifty Shades’ sequels because of his wife not liking it, Jamie Dornan makes the news again as he reportedly signs in for the two upcoming sequels. But this time, he gets a whopping pay check of at least $12 million!

According to The Daily Star, Jamie Dornan was reluctant to do the sequels mainly because he was worried that the movie may have just lowered his credibility in Hollywood. Not to mention that he was also uncomfortable of having his wife Amelia Warner watch him doing the movie’s famed sex scenes with leading lady Dakota Johnson (which is a big difference from initial talks of his wife hating the movie).

But it seems the movie’s producers made a step in making him stay by giving Dornan what he really deserved: a better pay. In the first movie ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, Dornan reportedly received a pay of £80,000 or about $120,000. But the producers decided to give him a better proposal by offering £4.5 million or at least $6 million for each sequel. That’s like $12 million to do both sequels; definitely a longer shot that his previous pay!

A friend of Dornan reportedly said, “Jamie has signed the deal and he’s thrilled; the money on offer was just too good.” Not that we can blame him for that!

In any case, Dornan need not orry much about his reputation as a movie actor because ‘Fifty Shades’ in fact helped him out a bit on that. Us Weekly reported that, according to The Guardian, Dornan has just been cast for Sean Ellis’ ‘Anthropoid’, which is based on the true-to-life mission Operation Anthropoid in an attempt to assassinate SS officer Reinhard Heydrich during the early Holocaust years. Co-starring with Dornan is Cillian Murphy from Batman Begins.
