Open Road has picked up Garry Marshall’s “Mother’s Day,” which is going to star Hollywood stars including Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, and Jason Sudeikis. The film is going to follow the lives of several mothers in the days leading up to the Mother’s Day. Read on for more details.

Aniston and Roberts have been known to be arch rivals. On the other hand, they are working together just goes to prove that the girls are professionals and would keep aside their differences if a good script comes along and they feel like putting their names against it.

According to Ok! Magazine, the ancient feud between Aniston and Roberts started when Roberts dumped Aniston’s friend, Matthew Perry. This was way back in the nineties when Roberts was a young and upcoming star and Aniston was a TV starlet.

Apparently the press loves to dig up corpses of old feuds just to keep things interesting, but the world in general and the actresses, in particular, seem to have moved on. The girls were photographed together at a public outing recently and looked genial around each other and the outlet has some excellent photographs of the outing.

Open Road has decided to release “Mother’s Day” nationwide on April 29, 2016, which is the weekend prior to Mother’s Day. Iy might get them off on the box office on a sound footing. Production starts in Atlanta this month.

It remains to be seen if this will turn out to be just another comedy drama that Garry Marshall is famous for. Marshall practically invented the romantic comedy genre with films like “The Princess Diaries” and “The Runaway Bride.” But if the star cast is anything to go by, the director may have a good movie script and might even turn it into a comedy classic. Audiences may have to wait for a quarter of a year to see the result, though.
