Jennifer Aniston Lifts Emma Stone Off Her Feet While on Oscars Red Carpet

When we’re talking about big star-studded events, we see a lot of celebrities catching up with each other, whether it’s on the red carpet or even between commercials. But Jennifer Aniston took it up a notch when she saw her friend Emma Stone walking up the carpet.

On Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, stars lined up for the red carpet in the 2015 Academy Awards. The big night’s hopeful nominees like Emma Stone, who was up for the Best Supporting Actress Award for “Birdman,” graced the carpet, hoping that they’d get to pose later with their very own statuette. And though Jennifer Aniston was not nominated for an award for her role in “Cake” but will present later, she walked down the carpet with all smiles, especially since she has her fiancé Justin Theroux was beside her.

But when these two ladies saw each other coming up on the carpet, Aniston pleasantly shocked the crowd when she suddenly charged up to Stone and hugged her, even ending up grabbing a handful of her butt and nearly lifting her off her feet. Stone also returned the hug by wrapping her arms around Aniston’s neck.

Fans took to Twitter to comment on the good relationship the two celebrities have, which was clearly shown in their rather unexpected welcome to each other on the red carpet. There were also comments on a possibility of a good movie coming up with the two good friends starring.

Stone was spotted later that night posing for a photo with Julianne Moore who won an Oscar for Best Actress on her role in “Still Alice.” She was also seen hanging out with “Birdman” director Alexandro G. Iñárritu, who also won an Oscar that night.
