Jennifer Aniston bares her body and airs her side on feminism and the pressure on her for not having a baby yet in the January 2015 cover of Allure magazine. Read on for further details.

Jennifer Aniston has long been known as a sweet darling, but the media was throttled with her photos as the cover girl for Allure magazine’s January 2015 issue.

The actress posed topless alongside Chris McMillan, her longtime friend and hairstylist. Aniston and McMillan posed with bare chest against each other while wearing only jeans. The photo was shot by Michael Thompson.

In an interview with the magazine, the actress shares her side on what she had to go through to portray her role in the movie “Cake,” her take on feminism, her reaction to the pressure of having a baby with her fiancée Justin Theroux and on her friendship with Gwyneth Paltrow.

Aniston plays the role of Claire, a woman who experiences chronic pain after a car accident, in her upcoming film “Cake,” for which the actress was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama in the Golden Globes. Aniston had to stop wearing makeup and bear a large prosthetic scar on her face. “A woman going physically unattractive is where you get recognition and some sort of respect. You read things like, ‘Oh she’s finally acting!’” says Aniston.

Aniston thinks this type of recognition for physical appearances is “quite sexist, to be honest, because men don’t get that.”

“Because people overcomplicate it,” she tells Allure when asked why she thinks the word “feminism” is complicated.

“I don’t like [the pressure] that people put on me, on women – that you’ve failed yourself as a female because you haven’t procreated,” adds Aniston.

Aniston also rejects the idea that her decision not to have kids because she was so career-driven and selfish automatically defines her as not being caring.

Aniston says she’s proud of her fiancée Justin and how she felt having someone care deeply for her. The actress also recognizes some of her friends in the industry such as Courteney Cox, Chelsea Handler and Gwyneth Paltrow, whom she describes, “that woman has got style to the moon and back. Chic, effortless, gorgeous. This sums us up.”
