Jennifer Lawrence Claims Relationship with Bradley Cooper Is Smooth Coz They’re Not Having Sex
Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper enjoy such a good relationship and the actress declares, during a special screening of their latest movie “Serena,” that the reason why they get along so well is because she and her “work husband” don’t get to have sex.
Speaking at the red carpet Q & A for “Serena” last March 21st, the young star said that she believes it’s a happy coincidence that she and Bradley got paired to work together for the first time in “Silver Linings Playbook,” where they were both recognized at the Oscars for their work. Their chemistry was so evident, despite the huge differences in their ages — Bradley is in his 40s, Jennifer is in her 20s — that the two would eventually work together again for “American Hustle,” where they would get another round of recognition at the awards circuit.
Jennifer did not hesitate to refer to Bradley as her “work husband,” and unlike real couples, she jokes that there is no sex in their “marriage.” She also added that she and Bradley click so well when it comes to food. They never disagree about dinner at all.
Jennifer shares that it was she who dragged Bradley to work with her on “Serena.”
“I forced him to come onto [Serena]. I mean, any male role is going to make me think of Bradley because in my opinion, he’s the best, and I love working with him,” she said to Vanity Fair.
Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper has nothing but praises for his “work wife” Jennifer Lawrence.
“I respect her so much as a professional, as an actor, and I think she’s the best there is. I just learn from her. You always want to work with people who are better than you,” remarked the actor in the same report.
The on-screen couple will work with each other for a fourth time in an upcoming movie, “Joy,” a biopic about Joy Mangano, the inventor of the Miracle Mop, except they won’t be the romantic leads as Jennifer’s character will be paired with Edgar Ramirez (“Zero Dark Thirty”).
