JENNIFER LAWRENCE COMES CANDID ABOUT HER ‘MOPPING’ IN ‘JOY’
Jennifer Lawrence might not make a run for Oscar this year, but that did not stop her for earning a massive amount of critical acclaim this year. Her latest venture with David O. Russell, ‘Joy’ where she plays the leading role of an activist single mother, opposite Bradley Cooper, which is an epitome of women empowerment, as earned her massive amount of kudos from her fans. In a recent interview with Terry Gross from NPR she comes candid about her role in ‘Joy’.
Jennifer Lawrence is always serious about the role she is about to portray in a movie and her collaborations with David O. Russell, are practically gold mines. She also earned an Oscar for her role in ‘Silver Linings Playbook’, which was from the same production. In her new movie, she plays a role of a sales woman who learns the art of mopping. And this is why we adore Jennifer Lawrence and her acting skills.
According to NPR, “and so I would practice it, you know, practice, like, technique and then – and just kind of getting used to it. And there were Miracle Mops on set and I would start working them and, like, really just trying to study it.” She explains.
The chemistry between Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper is always a sight to confront, because the connection between them is electric. The 24 years old actress also revealed that Bradley was more ready for her to play the leading role than she was. He even taught her how to mop properly, “He watched me and he was like, ‘No, no, no, Jen, that’s not how you mop.’ And he showed me how to properly mop.” JLaw quips, or so Vanity Fair claims. She also told that Bradley Cooper’s mother is a huge fan of QVC, the telemarketing company, for which he worked in ‘Joy’ and she also gave her a few tips to land the role perfectly.
