Jennifer Lopez on ‘The Boy Next Door’ Steamy Sex Scenes; It’s All Her, No Body Double [WATCH VIDEO]
Jennifer Lopez did away with a body double during all her sultry sex scenes with Ryan Guzman in her latest film, “The Boy Next Door.”
“The Boy Next Door” star Jennifer Lopez admitted she didn’t use a body double to enact her daring cougar-inspired intense sex acts with co-star Ryan Guzman in the movie. It’s her most daring role yet, and the 45-year-old mother of twins bares a lot more than audiences are used to seeing.
“It was all me. And all Ryan, by the way,” she admitted during the promotion of the thriller suspense flick, as published on E! News.
The movie features a steamy bedroom romp where Guzman runs his hands feverishly all over JLo’s body before cupping and stroking her bare breasts.
In the film, Lopez plays a divorced mother whose neighbor, played by Guzman, develops an insane obsession with her.
While most A-listers would include a rider requiring a body double for intimate scenes on their contracts, Lopez admits she waved this requirement away as shooting the film involved lots of close-ups where a body double would be obvious.
“It was intense,” JLo recalled. “Those scenes are embarrassing. They are uncomfortable, but your job as an actress or an actor is to make it believable and this movie in particular…hinges on if that was believable, that it was enough to make this guy go insane.”
Even Guzman, who previously starred in “Step Up: All In,” was nervous about his first time going naked on camera.
“She was the one who kept me at ease,” Guzman marveled about his older co-star’s commitment to professionalism. “She talked me down. She said, ‘We’re going to do this [and] we’re going to do that. Everything is going to be fun. You’re going to have fun.’ It was.”
The pair ended having a “giggle fest” on the bedroom set.
