“I can only say I’ve been asked to play an interesting role: a complicated, challenging person,” says Eisenberg in an interview with Total Film Magazine.
Eisenberg has been cast to play the Man of Steel’s arch-nemesis, the mad genius, high –status, Lex Luthor in Chris Terio’s intended sequel to Man of Steel. Eisenberg has worked closely with writer Chris Terrio to discuss thoroughly the “real psychology” behind the person, who is Lex Luthor.

He is a wealthy, power-mad business magnate of high intelligence and incredible technological prowess.

Jesse Eisenberg landed his first leading role in the film “Roger Dodger” and since then shown prominence in films such as the comedy drama “Adventureland’ and the horror comedy “Zombieland”, for which he won critical acclaim.
