Though the show “19 Kids & Counting” would not be aired anymore, but another TLC’s show named, “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” is making a lot of buzz among TV show enthusiasts lately. In the new teaser of the show Josh Duggar seems to be in focus again.
“Jill & Jessa: Counting On” would star Jessa Seewald, 23, and Jill Dillard, 24. The two girls would obviously talk about their sad experience on being molested by brother. According to Perez Hilton.com, a preview was released on Monday, which shows 25-year-old John-David Duggar, the second oldest son, making some interesting statements. As we hinted that Josh Duggar, 27, is in focus this time as always, what do you expect John-David Duggar would have discussed?
In the preview of “Jill & Jessa: Countin On,” John-David Duggar opened up about how he dealt with Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal that came to light this year. He expressed that he lost a brother when Josh Duggar disclosed that he had cheated on his wife, Anna Duggar. He stated that he stopped finding a role model in his brother after that.
HollywoodLife.com reported that John-David Duggar has said before cameras, “I don’t think there’s any way any of us would have known that my brother was living such a secret life.” He also added, “It broke my heart.”
Duggar family is known to be a family of Independent Baptists and have complete faith in the values such as faith in God, purity and modesty. The Duggars also don’t put any trust in modern values of birth control. Instead they believe in letting God decide the number of offerings a member in the family can have.
The children don’t go to educational institutes and are given education at home. They are also provided with very limited access to entertainment. The ways of courtship favored in Duggar family are also very strict. Two people who seem to develop a liking for each other only get to know each other, and that is only in group settings.
With Josh Duggar’s scandal appearing in public that he molested his sisters and cheated on wife with porn stars, many are convinced that the family is dysfunctional.
The “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” would premier on December 13 at 8 p.m. EST on TLC.
