The 48th CMA Awards Update: Jimmy Kimmel to Host in Nashville from Los Angeles Via Hologram [WATCH VIDEO]

Jimmy Kimmel of ABC's late night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" will host the 48th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville from Los Angeles via hologram.  Viewers can see Kimmel live in Hollywood, California as well as in Nashville, Tennessee simultaneously. Read on to learn more about the 48th CMA Awards scoop.

Kimmel will be seen live at two places at the same time with the help of revolutionary 3D holographic projection. The television show is being organized to concur with the upcoming event celebrating country music. Hologram technology will make Kimmel's image to be beamed from his Los Angeles studio to the CMA Awards stage in Nashville. Hologram USA will provide the high-tech services to the CMAs being held at CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.


Kimmel will then interview Julie Bowen (“Modern Family”) as his first guest from Hollywood , while a second guest will be a CMA Award winner whose image is beamed in from Nashville as a hologram. 

This special CMA Awards episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is sponsored by Crown Royal Regal Apple Whisky. The show will feature a musical performance by Florida Georgia Line that will be sent via hologram to "Jimmy Kimmel Live's" outdoor concert stage in Hollywood for his studio audience. Mom-to-be Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are back to host the awards for the seventh year. “Jimmy Kimmel Live's” special episode will also include appearances by CMA Awards nominees and Country music royalty Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley.

As hologram technology pushes boundaries and defies expectations, this technology will generate extra wow to captivate the audiences. So don’t forget to watch the 48th CMA Awards air live from Nashville on Nov. 5, 2014 on ABC.
