Julie Walters on ‘Mamma Mia! 2’: ‘I don’t want to go there again’
For all those Mamma Mia! fans looking forward for Julia Walters in the sequel, don’t hold your breath. She ain’t showin’ up.
The 60-year-old actress, who will be starring in both parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has revealed that she will not be appearing Mamma Mia! 2.
“I don’t want to go there again,” says Walters. She added that her time on the 2008 film was fantastic, but that she’ll only feature in films where there is a “personal connection.” Like Harry Potter….
“I haven’t retired but, over the years, home has become more precious, so in order for me to go to work it has got to be something I find special,” says Walters otherwise I’d just as soon stop at home.”
Mamma Mia! 2 is still in development.
Walters is rumored to star in The Codfather opposite Micheal Sheen and Val Kilmer.
