‘Jurassic World 2’: Things that the Movie can do to Keep it Away from any Possible Flaws
“Jurassic World” stormed the box office when it smashed $1.6 billion worldwide at the box office. Looking at the way it performed, a sequel to the movie was expected and getting something more than just a dinosaur saga is what the possible aim of the movie should be. Here are some things that “Jurassic World 2” should do to avoid any flaws in the movie.
According to Movie Pilot, bringing something absolutely new should be the movie’s first objective. Now that the movie has slightly shifted away from its predecessor’s focus, there are literally multiple options that “Jurassic World 2” can explore.
Back in “Jurassic World,” there were many corporations who were interested in exploiting the new hybrid dinosaurs and make them into something else. That’s one way for the movie to go, an evil corporation who lands its hands on the hybrid eggs and start developing a new kind of Dino-weapon never seen before.
The second alternative is a rather peaceful one. Now that dinosaurs have been resurrected in the modern world, they might as well start living their lives much like other herbivores and carnivores do. So normally in a zoo where you see orangutans, tigers and zebras now you might be able to see Triceratops, Apatosaurus and Brachiosaurus apart from hardcore carnivores like T-Rex and Raptors in a controlled environment. Finally for the sake of old movie’s fans, if we can just see some pivotal characters reprising their roles in the modern take, which would make it the perfect Dinosaur movie. Plus getting to see the old characters who many of us have grown watching would be a visual treat and having them contribute in the movie would make it so nostalgic.
Yibada added that director Colin Trevorrow mentioned that he never really saw any room for the older characters to return in this movie. It was because of his constant attempt with this one has been to separate it from the “Jurassic Park” movies. Bryce Dallas Howard, on the other hand, has been in favor of seeing older characters in the sequel, returning because being a fan of the franchise, it would get her excited to see them return.
“Jurassic World 2” is scheduled to release on June 22, 2018.
