‘Jurassic World 2′ update: Chris Pratt signed on for more movies

First Star-Lord in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” and now Owen Grady in “Jurassic World”, its hard to imagine that this is the same actor, Chris Pratt, who was a part of “Parks and Recreation” playing an adorable character. With a splendid attempt at taking down one of the most feared dinosaurs, it seems Chris has impressed the producers enough to reprise his role in a sequel that is being planned currently.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Chris Pratt has confirmed that he will be a part of the “Jurassic World” sequel that is currently being discussed apart from mentioning how wonderful it was to work on this movie. He recalled meeting Steven Spielberg as the best moment of his life during the making of the movie and the time when he was being told that the veteran filmmaker really liked the scenes that were being shot in the movie.

Chris Pratt was also pretty generous while praising director Colin Trevorrow who directed the project with a certain vision in mind. Pratt stated that when his manager informed him that Trevorrow wanted  to do a continuation of the franchise, he immediately wanted to be part of the “Jurassic World.”

Pratt also mentioned that Trevorrow was pretty decisive and someone who maintained control. He also mentioned that the director was in a way remaking the movie while directing it, which was another impressive thing about him. Chris Pratt added that the director gave a justification as to why the park was reopening after 22 years. Why would people want to see it again? The park has been functional and has been getting visitors but its attendance has been falling and that is what the actor thinks was intriguing.

Before concluding the interview, Chris Pratt recalled being able to spend time with his family and going to work later was probably the best memory he has of this movie.
