‘Jurassic World’ Sequel Premiere Date Confirmed; Will Hit Theaters in June 2018
Dinosaurs are now a thing – again. Thanks to “Jurassic World” for reigniting our love for dinosaur movies, and it has been confirmed that a sequel is heading our way… in 2018.
“Jurassic World” became the third-highest grossing movie worldwide in ranking with $1.522 billion. It appealed to a huge audience and there’s no wonder why a sequel has been confirmed. It will hit theaters on June 22, 2018 as announced by Universal Pictures.
Even though, the director for the “Jurassic World” sequel hasn’t been announced, many stars of the film are set to return. Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow, the co-writers of the movie are set to write the sequel. Meanwhile, Steven Spielberg is set to return as executive director of the sequel as well as Frank Marshall as the movie’s producer.
“Jurassic World” main stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt have already signed on for the sequel. And with that, it looks like everything is almost set for the return of the movie.
Will the sequel be successful as the first movie? THAT we are going to find out. Although the “Jurassic World” sequel is still far away, a lot of fans are already rooting for plot details. Are they going to have a new theme park and of course, new dinosaur species are expected! Will we be able to get to know more about the dinosaur who lives underwater? It seems pretty strong!
